Founded in 1994, Global Green USA is the American arm of Green Cross International. Its US work is primarily focused on stemming global climate change by creating green cities. After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Global Green made a strong commitment to sustainable building in the Gulf Coast. Global Green's unique approach merges innovative research and community-based projects and advocacy to educate the public, implement new environmental policies and improve the lives of people in low-income communities.
