The PACT for Japan collection benefits Architecture for Humanity’s design and construction of a work-house for fishermen in the town of Shizugawa. After the project is complete and fishermen can begin working again, so can the people who support them: the local lunch lady, the delivery men, the ice suppliers, and on and on, thus breathing life back into a town nearly destroyed by the tsunami.
