At PACT, we get a lot of questions… like, are you hiring? or, what do Jason and Jeff look like? or, do you make thongs for men?   hmmm…. not yet.
Our most common question though is: what do I do with this little pouch the undies came in?  Isn’t this wasteful?
In fact, the PACT pouch is the opposite of wasteful!  Here’s why: in apparel production all over the world, each individual garment is packaged and shipped from a factory in a clear plastic bag called a “poly bag”.  That means millions of plastic bags are shipped to the US every day.  Once they arrive, garments are unpacked and these plastic bags are sent straight to landfill. We do NOT want each pair of PACT underwear to be shipped in a piece of trash!
So instead, your PACT underwear arrives in a fabric bag (the PACT pouch) made from excess fabric.  See, during the cutting process, the pattern pieces are cut out of a large piece of fabric and there are scraps left over.  Our cutters can use these scraps to cut out the pattern pieces for the PACT pouches!   NO PLASTIC BAGS NECESSARY!!
Not only does this save lots of plastic and divert excess fabric from being waste, but you can reuse the PACT pouch for whatever you want!
